Hi! My name is Ashley Verity. I’m thirty-three years old, and the single mom of two amazing kids. I became pregnant at the young age of nineteen. I decided to forgo college so I could work to support my child. Four years later I became pregnant again. My marriage didn't work out; I was now the single mom of two. I was quickly finding that my lack of a college degree was holding me back in the workforce. I had always wanted to work in the medical field, so I set out to see what my options were. I found a trade school where I could learn to be a medical assistant, and they helped with job placement afterwards. I was able to do school, work and spend time with my children. I’m now extremely happy with my career and happy to share my trade school experience with you.
